We strive to ensure that each cat or kitten is matched to the right family and home environment. Bringing a new friend into your home is a very important decision and requires certain responsibilities on your part.
- We expect our cats/kittens to be kept as indoor companions and humanely treated with love and respect.
- We expect all necessary veterinary care (annual and emergency) will be provided.
- We expect the cats/kittens to be provided with basic needs such as fresh water, quality food, clean litter boxes, proper grooming, playtime/exercise, human affection and attention.
- We expect the cats/kittens to be returned to us if the adopting family cannot keep him/her for any reason at any time throughout the life of the cat/kitten. We do not want the animal to be taken to a pound or Humane Society, or given away.
Keeping Cats Indoors
Each year, millions of cats are:
- lost
- run over by cars
- mauled by other animals
- exposed to poisonous substances (pesticides, antifreeze, etc.)
And unfortunately, some cats also:
- fall prey to human cruelty and abuse such as trapping and shooting
- become diseased or infected with parasites
Cats who roam the outdoors are constantly in danger from predators. Therefore, it is our policy that all of our cats and kittens be indoor cats only.
